Frequently Asked Questions

We guide anglers of all skill levels, from complete beginners to highly experienced fly fishermen. Every trip is tailored to match the experience and goals of the clients. 

We can provide all equipment required for the trip.  We will get your shoe and wader size ahead of time.  You are also welcome to bring your own equipment if you like.

You will need a valid NC fishing license and can purchase one by clicking here.

Prime dates during spring and fall can book quickly. Reserving early is recommended, especially for weekends. 

Children of all ages are welcome on our fishing trips, but we recommend children be at least 5 years old to fully enjoy the experience.

We require at least 10 days' notice to cancel a guided trip for a full refund.  Cancellations within 10 days will result in a forfeited deposit.  For group trips requiring three or more guides, deposits are non-refundable 30 days before the trip.  The guide service reserves the right to cancel trips due to dangerous weather conditions.

 We’re committed to providing every client with a high-quality experience. To keep trips personalized and effective, we limit most groups to two or three anglers per guide. Larger groups can easily be accommodated by adding additional guides. 

Trips focus on personalized instruction, local river knowledge, and creating a productive, low-pressure experience for anglers of all skill levels.  We like to fish and have fun!
